Tony love’s innovation, and is at the leading edge of the modern Chardonnay movement that is bringing more and more consumers back to the joys of this wonderful grape.
Tony is supported by his life partner Karryn, and this family owned business is growing organically from a very small base. 2017 see’s the release of Tony Bish Wines super premium Chardonnays, the 2016 Golden Egg and the 2016 Skeetfield Vineyard. Added to the range is a new wine; Heartwood Chardonnay made in French oak barriques. The name reflects the fact that only the Heart Wood of the 140+ year old oak trees is used to make these barrels.
Long time friend and renowned photographer Richard Brimer has kindly provided all photographic material. A genius behind the lens, Richard's work adds depth and character to Tony’s wines.
In September 2017 The Urban Winery in Ahuriri has opened. Visitors can see Tony Bish making the Chardonnays and buy a bottle or two to take away. From Labour weekend visitors will also be able to enjoy a glass of wine at the Urban Winery with a platter of charcuterie or cheese.
We are offering a limited access wine club to those who love Chardonnay!
Because we SOLD OUT of many of our wines, we’ve created a Wine Club to keep you stocked with our amazing wines throughout the year.
We have two tiers: for lovers of fine Chardonnay The Sassy Bunch and for our more premium offer The Fabergés.
Access to both tiers is very limited and once we’re at capacity we’ll be operating a waiting list.
